'Come to BJP, will get cases closed': Manish Sisodia claims this message he received from BJP

New Delhi/IBNS: In an explosive statement, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia Monday morning said he was reached out by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) with a message urging him to join the saffron wing to get his cases closed, amid the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI)'s action against the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader in connection with the Delhi liquor policy.

Sisodia tweeted, "BJP's message has come to me - break "AAP" and join BJP, will get all CBI ED cases closed

"My reply to BJP - I am a Rajput, a descendant of Maharana Pratap. I will cut off my head but will not bow down in front of the corrupt-conspirators. All the cases against me are false. Do whatever you want to do."

Hitting back at Sisodia, BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia said, "Arvind Kejriwal-ji, if you are honest, then you answer the question that the public is asking. After 24 hours, a tweet came in reply and the same nonsense in it too."

The CBI, which is investigating into the Delhi Excise Policy which has handed over liquor shop licences to private players, raided Sisodia's residence, seized his computer and mobile phone last Friday, triggering a political faceoff between the BJP and AAP.

Crying political vendetta after the raid, AAP MP Sanjay Singh held a press conference where he said, "The education and health model of Delhi is becoming popular across the world. This has to be undermined.

"If a Prime Minister's mentality is so mean that he wants to stall development in the education and health sector, then how will he lead the country?"
