Congress does 'ilu-ilu' with terrorists, says Amit Shah
Dhanbad, May 8 (UNI): BJP national president Amit Shah today campaigned for his party candidate from Dhanbad P.N. Singh during which he attacked the Congress party stating that it can do "ilu-ilu" with the terrorists but BJP would not because its policy was clear that if a bullet was fired, it would be retaliated with a bomb.
Addressing the election meeting at Nehru Udyan, Karkend, he also pointed the works which has been done by the Modi government for Dhanbad and said while on one hand construction of fertiliser plant in Sindri had started and on the other hand the ISM had been accorded the status of IIT.
He said, it was the BJP government that has built the Binod Biharo Mahto Koyelanchal University.
Exuding confidence that Mr Modi will be back in power, he said so far he has travelled in 296 Lok Sabha constituencies but despite the change in the language, dressing and food, one slogan has remained constant which is 'Modi Modi' which was not mere a slogan but the belief of 125 crore people towards Mr Modi.
Highlighting the importance of the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, he said due to lack of treatment, the poor use to die in case of serious ailments but now they are getting their treatment done worth up to Rs 5 lakh free of cost. On the other hand. in the last five years seven crore women have received gas connections and in eight crore toilets have been constructed in the homes.
Shah said the government in the Centre has also extended full cooperation to the Jharkhand government in its development.
He said, in the 10 years of UPA rule Jharkhand had got Rs 55,253 crore for its development while in Modi rule Jharkhand has got more than Rs 3,07,000 crore.
Those present on the occasion also included BJP candidate PN Singh, cabinet ministers of Jharkhand Amar Bauri, Ramchandra Chandravanshi and other leaders of the BJP.
