Congress is playing separatist politics in J&K and pursuing communal agenda in Assam: Himanta Biswa Sarma

The Assam minister said in Guwahati the Congress is now playing separatist politics in Jammu & Kashmir and pursuing communal agenda in Assam.

“Certain dangerous development is happening in Indian politics. Mehbooba Mufti is openly welcoming Chinese aggression on India. Farooq Abdullah writes from 1974 openly hobnobbing with the separatist elements from the days of Amanullah Khan and Maqbool Bhat. Now this alliance doesn’t have faith to the constitution of India. They want to restore article 370 and 35A of the constitution which have been repealed. Mehbooba Mufti, Farooq Abdullah are known as separatists and the people of India will never accept them, but what about the Congress. Congress has brought under the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi freedom to this country. Congress has fought unification, for secularism in this country during the leaderships of Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. But the present Congress party is openly supporting Mehbooba Mufti, Farooq Abdullah. They are not even asking that what is your stand on the constitution of India, rather P Chidambaram made statement that they want restoration of article 370 and 35A. Gulam Nabi Azad speaks and demands that article 370 should be restored. Now what is the role of Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, are you with the separatist gang? Are you with the Gupkar gang? Why you talk about electoral alliance with this Gupkar people? So, my question to Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi that, you must come out in front of the people of the country and must clearify your stand on article 370, you must clearify your stand about the Gupkar gang. If you don’t this then we will constrain to hold that you are with the separatists and Farooq Abdullah-Mehbooba Mufti gang,” Himanta Biswa Sarma said.

The Assam minister said the Congress party is not only playing dangerous politics in Kashmir, they are also playing dangerous politics with the people of Assam.

“They have started a communal agenda in Assam. They have started dirty communal politics with Badruddin Ajmal in Assam.Northeast and Kashmir are more sensitive places in our country. In Assam, you are playing communal politics and in Kashmir, you are playing divisive and separatist politics. So, Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi must to answer it. Otherwise we will be constrained to hold that all things are happening with the blessings and active support of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. Today’s Congress party is separatist, divisive, communal and this Congress party will be wiped out from the soil of this country because no nationalist people will go by their agenda of restoring article 370 of the constitution of India and they will never support Farooq Abdullah, Mehbooba Mufti, Badruddin Ajmal gang. So, the Congress party is now thoroughly exposed,” Himanta Biswa Sarma said.

Himanta also said ,“I will give a chance to the Congress party let Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi clearify that, the Congress party is not with the communal people, divisive and separatist people. Unless clearify, I have to no alternative to say that, the Congress is a party who is in coalition with the separatists and the communal forces. They are playing with fire in the most sensitive regions of our country.”
