Mangaluru, Apr 22 (UNI) Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former Karnataka Minister C T Ravi today said that fall of the Congress-JD(S) Coalition government in the State is imminent as Congress leaders have hatched a conspiracy to bring down the one-year-old alliance government in the State.

Addressing a press conference here on Monday, the BJP leader claimed that senior Congress leaders including former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Minister for Water Resources D K Shivakumar and Deputy Chief Minister Dr G Parameshwara have conspired to bring down the coalition government headed by Chief Ministeer H D Kumaraswamy.

Maintaining that despite the pre-poll alliance between the Congress and the JD(S), the Congress leaders have systematically worked against the JD(S) candidates, in Mandya, Tumakuru, Hassan and other Lok Sabha seats, he said that “It was done with an intention to pull down the coalition government”.

“All those Congress leaders, who are working out strategy to topple the JD(S) led coalition government, are also day dreaming to become the Chief Minister”, he added.

“The Congress leaders are leaving no opportunity to criticize the Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy, despite they had extended support to the Government” he added.
