COVID-19: Three more people in Karnataka test positive

Bengaluru/UNI: With the three more persons tested positive for the dreaded COVID-19 virus, the total number of people infected for the coronavirus rose to 18 on Saturday.

In a tweeter message, the Health minister B Sreeramulu, who is also heading the task force against the menace of the spread of the COVID-19 disease, informed that three more persons, were tested positive on Saturday.

While no any details were given over the contracted persons, the minister however, stated that one person from Chikkaballapura town who had recently returned from Saudi Arabia, tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.

Meanwhile, Chief minister B S Yediyurappa, had appealed the people of the state to remain indoor tomorrow, as part of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call for ‘Janata Curfew’ from Sunday morning.
