Srinagar, Feb 17 (UNI) The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has set up 'CRPF Madadgaar' 24X7 helpline for speedy assistance to Kashmiri students, businessmen and others, in case they face any difficulties or harassment outside the valley, following protests in different parts of the country against the fidayeen attack in Pulwama, in which 40 personnel were martyred on Thursday.

Jammu and Kashmir police has also set up helplines in every district in the valley to provide assistance to people of the districts, who are in different parts of the country.

The Union Home Ministry has also issued a direction to all state governments, to ensure safety and security of Kashmiri people in their

CRPF Madadgaar, 'A 24x7 helpline by CRPF for those in distress', in a tweet said '#Kashmiri students and general public, presently out of #kashmir can contact @CRPFmadadgaar on 24x7 toll free number 14411 or SMS us at 7082814411 for speedy assistance in case they face any difficulties/harrasment. @crpfindia @HMOIndia @JKZONECRPF @jammusector @crpf_srinagar.'

The tweet was re-tweeted by several people, including Jammu and Kashmir police.

Meanwhile, Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbagh Singh has said that some Kashmiri people came by train on Saturday.

Police facilitated their shifting and lodging at Bathindi. Entire Jammu remained peaceful during the day, except a minor issue at Janipora on Saturday morning. Movement of some stranded Kashmiri people to Srinagar also being arranged.

'I had taken up the matter with the DGP Utrakhand, to take care of security of students from Kashmir. DIG Baramulla is also in touch. A helpline has also been set up at PCR Srinagar and PCR Jammu,' Mr Singh said.
