Delhi: Army Major's wife found dead on road with throat slit

New Delhi, June 24 (IBNS): The wife of an Indian Army Major was found dead on Saturday with her throat slit on a street in south-west Delhi, media reports said.

The area is close to army cantonment.

According to reports, the 30-year-old woman had left home in the morning for a physiotherapy session at the base hospital in Delhi Cantonment.

She was found dead at Brar Square street half and hour later.

The police got a call from passers-by about a body on the road.

On reaching the spot, they found the woman's throat had been slit.

Her husband was informed by the police.

According to reports, her body revealed injury marks believed to have been caused by vehicle run over.
