
Delhi bus drivers on strike
Later in the day on Sunday, the accused motorcylist was arrested in a case of road rage.
Holding firm on their stand, the DTC drivers and conductors have said that they will not allow buses to ply until victim's family is given a compensation of Rs 1 crore and a family member is given a permanent job in DTC.
Ashok Kumar, the deceased bus driver, was a father of two. He was a resident of Haryana.
The Delhi government announced a compensation of Rs. 5 lakh for his family.
The government has also said that a permanent job in the transport department will be given to one family member of the deceased.
