New Delhi, Sept 14 (IBNS) A Delhi Court on Monday rejected the anticipatory bail plea of former Delhi law minister Somnath Bharti in connection with domestic violence case filed by her wife, reports said.

Bharti had moved court pre-empting possible arrest  in the case.

An FIR was filed against Bharti last week for attempted murder, causing injury and breach of trust.

Lipika had filed a complaint of domestic violence with the Delhi Commission for Women on June 10 alleging that her husband had been abusing her ever since their marriage in 2010. She had also given a complaint to police in this regard.
