Delhi Metro to ban plastic in premises soon: DMRC

New Delhi, Sep 28 (UNI) Delhi Metro will soon ban plastic in its premises, Anuj Dayal, Executive Director, Corporate Communications, DMRC said on Saturday.

Talking to reporters here, Dayal said, 'The issue regarding use/ban of plastic in Delhi Metro premises is being reviewed by the Management from the perspective of all relevant guidelines/bylaws/ statutory requirements on the subject.'

'Taking into consideration all these aspects, DMRC will be framing and issuing necessary guidelines for compliance by all its stakeholders in next few days,' Dayal added.
