Delhi police seeks Pak permission to quizz Mehr Tarar
Tarar's name surfaced in course of investigation following revelation that she had had a public spat with Pushkar, who accused the Pak journalist of having an affair with her husband and Congress MP Shashi Tharoor.
The twitter war between the two women took place few days before Sunanda's death.
Tarar said earlier this month that she is willing to answer any questions by police but will not travel to Delhi.
She admitted that fighting with Sunanda on Twitter was her biggest mistake. "I hope this ends soon. I have nothing to do with the case," she said.
Journalist Nalini Singh who was questioned in the case said, "Sunanda was distraught that Tharoor and Tarar were exchanging romantic messages."
Sunanda was found dead in a Delhi hotel on January 17, 2014 under mysterious circumstances.
Almost a year after her death police started a murder case as medical reports said the death was due to poisoning.
