Mumbai, Nov 25 (UNI) Attacking Bharatiya Janata Party, Shiv Sena on Monday asked Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to tender his resignation claiming that he does not have support and heading a ‘minority government’.

Shiv Sena legislative party leader Eknath Shinde, while talking to mediapersons here claimed that his party, along with Congress and NCP has a support of 165 legislators in 288 member house.

"We can prove our majority right away, in any manner. We can take our legislators for a head-count by the governor, or voting on the floor of the assembly in any form, voice-vote or secret ballot,” he stated.

The Sena leader also asked the saffron party why they were taking time to prove the majority if they have numbers.

"If they are so confident of their support, then they must show the numbers to the people of the state,” Shinde said.

The Opposition --Sena and Congress--are demanding a floor test at the earliest.
