New Delhi, July 23 (IBNS): Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and present AICC General Secretary Digvijaya Singh, whose family along with him was named in the Below Poverty Level (BPL) list by the state government, reacted sharply to the incident and demanded an apology from officials who committed the error.

"GOMP and GOI includes my name my brother's name my son's name in BPL ! We all are Income Tax payees," Singh tweeted.

Calling it a conspiracy against him, he said, "We have neither applied nor taken any benefit under BPL. This is a conspiracy against me and my family."

"Those responsible should apologize and should be punished," he added.
