Exit polls predict clear win for TRS in Telangana

New Delhi, Dec 7 (IBNS): The exit polls on Friday gave a clear edge to Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), which is set to win 64 seats out of the 119-member Assembly.

The Congress-led alliance is set to manage 41 seats while the Bharaiya Janata Party (BJP) will bag five seats.

According to India Today-Axis My India poll, TRS will get 79-91 seats while Congress-led alliance will win 21-33. The BJP will only bag between one and three seats.

Republic C-Voter has predicted 48-60 seats for the TRS, 49-50 for Congress-led alliance and five for the BJP.

According to the Times Now-CNX enumeration, TRS will bag 66, Congress-led alliance will manage 37 and the BJP seven.

TRS is the ruling party in the state of Telangana.
