Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg supports net neutrality
"Yeah, absolutely. We've been working with authorities on regulation. This debate is there because countries are right now figuring out what net neutrality needs to be," Zuckerberg said on the issue of net neutrality.
He said: "Internet is expensive for carriers. What we are trying to do is offer low-bandwidth services. It'll be a neutral platform and we won't be a filter."
He said the mission of Facebook is to connect people.
He said connection people in India is a crucial thing that Facebook wants to do.
Mark Zuckerberg was making the remarks while addressing students at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) here.
