Fire at Mumbai's R K Studio, fire tenders fight

Mumbai, Sep 16 (IBNS) : A big fire broke out at Mumbai's iconic RK Studio at Chembur on Saturday afternoon, reports said.

Six fire tenders are working to douse the flames.

No injuries have been reported so far.

The fire is reportedly confined to electric wiring, electric installation, decoration equipment at the spot.

The fire reportedly broke out at the sets of TV show ‘Super Dancer’.

However, the being a  Saturday there was no crew at the set. The building has also been evacuated.

The famous studio was initially founded and setup by the showman Raj Kapoor in 1948 and is currently operational under the supervision of Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor.


Details of the incident are awaited.
