Fire breaks out at two places in Kolkata, no casualty

Kolkata, Dec 23 (IBNS): At least two fire incidents were reported in Kolkata on Wednesday where nobody was injured.

A minor fire broke out in a restaurant at Waterloo Street in central Kolkata on Wednesday morning. At least six fire tender engines rushed to the spot and the firefighters fought for nearly 30 minutes to bring the blaze under control.

Another fire incident was reported from a slum area at Ramjan Lane under Jorabagan Police Station area in Kolkata.

As many as three fire tenders went to the spot and the fire was brought under control after few hours.

The fire department has started investigations into both incidents.
