Fire in Delhi hospital, no casualty
New Delhi, Dec 23 (IBNS): Minor fire broke out at a hospital in east Delhi's Preet Vihar area on Saturday, media reports said.
More than 80 patients were recovered and evacuated from the hospital, reports said.
According to reports, some patients received minor injuries.
No casualty has been reported so far.
The incident occurred in the second floor of the Metro Hospital and Cancer Institute.
The exact cause behind the fire is not known.
On Dec 9 in 2011, a massive fire broke out in the basement of AMRI hospital in south Kolkata's Dhakuria area and a part of the hospital building caught fire very soon.
Before the firefighters doused the blaze, at least 90 patients and attendants were killed due to asphyxiation.
