Flight carrying around 200 Indian citizens stranded in Ukraine arrives in Delhi, Rajeev Chandrasekhar receives them
New Delhi: A special flight, which was carrying around 200 Indian nationals who were stranded in war-hit Ukraine, arrived in New Delhi from Romania on Thursday, media reports said.
The Indigo special flight departed from the Romanian capital Bucharest on Wednesday (local time) under Operation Ganga, reports ANI news agency.
Union Minister of State Rajeev Chandrasekhar received them at the airport.
"At Delhi Airport again this morning, Recieved another flight full of Indian students in Ukraine who were airlifted from #Bucharest #Romania - Also the flight crew from @IndiGo6E who flew them home safely 🙏🏻," he tweeted.
