Fourth phase of Lok Sabha polls: Average voter turnout of 12% recorded in Jharkhand in first two hours

Ranchi, Apr 29 (UNI): An average voter turnout of 12 per cent has been recorded till 9 am on the three Lok Sabha seats of Jharkhand -- Chatra, Lohardaga(ST) and Palamu (SC)-- where voting is currently underway.

Constituency wise the voter turn out at Chatra has been recorded at 12.10%, Lohardaga 11.30 per cent and Palamu 12.38%.

Voting on these three seats which commenced at 7 am will continue till 4 pm.

Barring a few incidents of EVMs were not working in some polling booths of Lohardaga. So far polling has remained peaceful in the state.
