Gangasagar: Kapil Muni temple's doors open after 72 days
Gangasagar/UNI: The door of Kapil Muni temple in West Bengal's Gangasagar opened after 72 days.
The doors of the temple were opened at 9:01 am on Monday in the presence of Sagar MLA Bankim Chandra Hajra, Gangasagar Coastal Police Officer-in-Charge Debashish Roy and Nimai Maharaj of Bharat Sebashram Sangha.
But before that the area around the temple premises was sanitized and then the door of the temple opened with the blowing of the conch.
According to the temple authorities every pilgrim must wear a face mask and worshippers will not be allowed to gather inside the temple.
Sanitary arrangements have also been made outside the temple. Pilgrims must sanitize their hands when they enter the temple.
However, the pilgrims have to maintain social distance inside and outside the temple.
