Guwahati: Leopard enters house, attacks woman

Guwahati, Feb 3 (IBNS): Tension prevailed at Satgaon area in Guwahati after a leopard entered into a house and left a woman seriously injured. 

According to reports, the leopard was hiding inside a nearby car garage and attacked the woman when she was busy cleaning the area.

The injured woman was rushed to a local hospital.

The landlord spotted the leopard inside the house on Sunday morning and immediately informed local police and forest department officials.

The leopard was finally tranquillised by veterinary doctors and was trapped.

Large number of people gathered around the house to see the leopard.
