Hardik Patel aides join BJP ahead of Gujarat Assembly polls

New Delhi, Oct 22 (IBNS): Ahead of the Gujarat Assembly elections, Key Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti (PAAS) leaders and aides of Hardik Patel-Varun Patel and Reshma Patel-joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday.

This comes even after PAAS leader Hardik Patel had earlier called upon people to vote for the Congress.

On Saturday, Varun Patel and Reshma Patel joined the BJP in the presence of state Deputy CM Nitin Patel, Minister of State for Home Pradeepsinh Jadeja and state BJP chief Jitu Vaghani.

Meanwhile, the Gujarat Congress has offered poll tickets to three youth leader-Hardik Patel of PAAS, OBC leader Alpesh Thakor and Dalit activist Jignesh Mevani.
