Hardik Patel's supporters create chaos at Amit Shah's Surat meet

Surat, Sept 8 (IBNS): A chaotic situation was reported at BJP President Amit Shah's meeting with party leaders in Surat on Thursday after supporters of Hardik Patel went on a rampage.

Chanting Patel's name,the supporters went on vandalizing the furniture.

According to reports, Shah was in Surat to attend a huge rally by the BJP to honour the new Patel ministers in the government.

Soon after the chaos erupted, the police was called in and they physically removed the trouble-makers from the venue.

Hardik Patel, 22, grabbed headlines after spearheading a stormy movement by the members of Patel community giving the state Government a troubled time.

He was also jailed for sedition.
