Human skeletal remains recovered in Kolkata waterhole

Kolkata, Mar 27 (IBNS): Human skull and bones were found from a pond at Bramhapur area under Bansdroni Police Station limits in southern Kolkata on Monday morning, reports said.

According to reports, while cleaning the pond, locals recovered the skeleton and handed it over to the police later.

Police officials said that a probe has been begun into the matter, while skeletal remains of the 'unidentified' person have been sent for forensic tests.

"We are quizzing the locals and trying to identify the human remains found in Bansdroni," a senior official of Kolkata Police told IBNS.
