IG Kashmir briefs media about Srinagar BSF camp terror attack, says it will keep happening with Pakistan as neighbour

| @indiablooms | Oct 03, 2017, at 09:35 pm
Srinagar, Oct 3 (IBNS): Referring to the terrorist attack on a BSF camp near Srinagar airport in Jammu and Kashmir, IG Kashmir Munir Khan said that such incidents 'will keep happening, as long as Pakistan is our neighbour'.

He was addressing a press conference on Tuesday afternoon.

IG Kashmir said that the terrorists were from the Jaish-e-Mohammad outfit.

He also said that the  BSF jawans repulsed the attack, which, he believes, was carried out by a group that had infiltrated into India in August. But that has to be verified, he added/

"They [the attackers] cut the fencing between Gogoland and Friend's Colony and entered from there," he said.

He also said that one flight to Srinagar was delayed as the security forces wanted to confirm that no terrorists had breached any sensitive area/
