Washington/IBNS: US President Donald Trump on Tuesday said he is looking forward to his India visit at the end of the month.
He said Trump's visit is important as it will further cement India-USA friendship.

Trump on Tuesday said he is looking forward to his India visit at the end of the month.
Describing Indian PM Narendra Modi as a 'great gentleman', he said: "Modi is a friend of mine. I am looking forward to India visit."
Trump referred to his upcoming Ahmedabad city visit, Trump said: "We’ll have five to seven million people just from the airport to the new stadium. And you know it is the largest stadium in the world."
Trump was referring to the newly build Motera Stadium.
Trump will visit India later this month at the invitation of PM Narendra Modi, officials said.
Trump will visit India from Feb 24 to 25.
During the visit, President Trump and the First Lady will attend official engagements in New Delhi and Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and interact with a wide cross-section of Indian society.
The global strategic partnership between India and the U.S. is based on trust, shared values, mutual respect and understanding, and marked by warmth and friendship between the peoples of the two countries, read the statement issued by the MEA.
The relationship has further evolved under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and President Trump, with significant progress in all areas including trade, defence, counter-terrorism, energy, coordination on regional and global issues as well as people-to-people ties.
The visit will provide an opportunity for the two leaders to review progress in bilateral ties and further strengthen our strategic partnership.
