Kolkata, Dec 1 (IBNS): Indian Navy will set up a permanent Naval museum facility in Kolkata on the lines of the Vizag Naval museum on the occasion of Navy Day to motivate young school children to join Indian Navy, said Naval Officer-in-Charge, West Bengal, Commodore Suprobho De.

He informed that instead of a ship as in Vizag, the Naval Aircraft would be set up at the proposed museum in Kolkata.

Besides this, a fighter ship module will also be installed at the Fort William main gate, he added.

The exhibit will be kept alongside the fighter tank and fighter jet already placed there.Proactive measures are being taken to protect Indian fishermen and bio-metric IDs are being provided to them so that careful watch can be kept upon their movement, revealed Commodore De.
