Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrives in Oman

Muscat, Feb 11 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday wrapped up his UAE visit and reached Muscat city of Oman.

This is his first state visit to the country.

"A ceremonial and traditional welcome for PM @narendramodi on arrival in Muscat, capital of Oman on his first State visit! Warmly received by Deputy PM of Oman. India accords very high importance to relations with Oman, a key strategic partner in the region. #ExtendedNeighbourhood," MEA spokesperson Raveesh Kumar tweeted.

Before arriving in Oman, he was in UAE.

Modi on Sunday addressed at the  World Government Summit in Dubai and said governments should ensure that technology is used for development and not destruction.
