Jammu and Kashmir: 2 terrorists killed in Anantnag encounter

Srinagar: Two unidentified militants were killed in an overnight encounter in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag district, police said on Monday morning.

The encounter broke out late Sunday at Tangpawa area of Anantnag during a cordon and a search operation following an input about militant presence.

" In the operation that is still underway two unidentified terrorists have been killed," a senior police officer said.

The identity and the group affiliation of the slain could not be established immediately.

Encounter is still going on.
