Jammu and Kashmir: Gunfight erupts in Anantnag district
Srinagar, Aug 24 (IBNS): A gunfight has erupted between security forces and terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag district on Friday, police said.
Police said two to three terrorists are present in the area.
"Encounter was going on in kukernag area of Anantnag, reportedly presence of 2/3 terrorists, firing stopped , search is on," state police chief SP Vaid tweeted.

In continued offensive against terrorists, some suspected associates detained for questioning, 4 hideoutes identified, 2 destroyed, some increminating material seized.
