Srinagar, Mar 20 (UNI) The Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), Awantipora in south Kashmir district of Pulwama has postponed all scheduled semester examination for the second consecutive day on Wednesday.

They said the examinations, which were scheduled to be held on Wednesday at the campus, were postponed. The examinations were postponed on Tuesday, when guest lecturer of the University and Principal of a local private school Rizwan Asad Pandit died in the custody of Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police.

They said new dates will be announced later.

Rizwan, a resident of Awantipora, was teaching Chemistry in government polytechnic of IUST last year.

Separatists have also called for a general strike on Wednesday in the valley against the custodial death of Rizwan.
