Srinagar, Sept 21 (IBNS): At least three special police officers (SPO) were arrested by suspected terrorists from Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian area on Thursday, media reports said.

The terrorists have allegedly warned the policemen and asked them to resign, police sources have told NDTV.

The latest incidents occurred just days after three policemen and eight relatives of police personnel, who were kidnapped by terrorists in south Kashmir, were set free.

They were set free after the Jammu and Kashmir police released several family members of terrorists.

More details are awaited.
