Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Department reaches Kolkata to woo tourists to Kashmir

Srinagar/IBNS: The J&K Tourism Department organised a promotional event at Kolkata in which all the prominent heads of travel trade associations, local media and senior officials from the Tourism Department of West Bengal participated.

The J&K Tourism Department team was represented by Waseem Raja, Additional  Secretary, Tourism and Ambika Bali, Assistant Director, Tourism, Katra and  Ahsanul Haq, Incharge Tourist Officer, Kolkata. 

In his presentation, Waseem Raja highlighted the new tourism products, services and the upcoming festival calendar rolled out by the department. He informed about the series of festivals being organised by the Tourism Department in the next few months, which includes some iconic festivals.

He assured the travel trade and media  that all Covid protocols are being followed in J&K to ensure the safety of tourists and the service providers. He also laid emphasis on the art, culture, cuisine,  natural beauty, adventure and Golf as a unique feature of the Tourism diversity in Jammu and Kashmir.
