Jammu NCB seizes huge quantity of poppy straw
Jammu, May 18 (UNI) The sleuths of Narcotics Control Bureau on Saturday seized a huge haul of poppy straw from fruit laden truck in posh Gandhi Nagar area here.
"Based on tip off, NCB team this early morning intercepted a truck loaded with fruits near Gandhi Nagar area," reliable sources here said.
They said that during frisking, bags containing poppy straw were seized from truck.
"The quantity of the contraband is yet to be ascertained," they added.
