Jungle Raj prevailing in Bengal: JP NaddaÂ
Kolkata, Sep 28 (UNI) BJP national working president J P Nadda on Saturday came down heavily on the Mamata Banerjee Government in Bengal, stating that a "jungle raj" and a "reign of terror" are prevailing in the state.
Nadda, who performed "tarpan" for "80 party workers who lost their lives in political violence in West Bengal in the past few years".
He said the BJP has emerged as an alternative to the ruling TMC in West Bengal, bagging 18 out of the 42 Lok Sabha seats in the state, a quantum jump from two seats in 2014.
He slammed Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, saying the state has been witnessing
'goonda raj' and the Trinamool Congress government's "days are numbered in the state" and the party is gradually losing its ground.
Nadda alleged that the family members of "slain BJP workers" in West Bengal are being "deprived of justice".
