Kalabhavan Mani's death : Police to question friends
Traces of the insecticide 'Chlorpyrifos' and methyl alcohol were found in the samples, after they were sent to the Regional Chemical Examiner's Laboratory in Kochi for testing.
Mani, 45, was undergoing treatment for liver and kidney diseases at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) for some time before his death on March 6.
Police had earlier registered a case of unnatural death after AIMS doctors told police that traces of methyl alcohol was found in his blood.
After Mani's family raised doubts over his death, police questioned a few of Mani's aides.
