Kamal Nath govt a preview of what could be Congress govt at Centre: Modi
Jabalpur, Apr. 26 (UNI): Madhya Pradesh’s Kamal Nath dispensation sustained a withering political fusillade on Friday when PM Narendra Modi averred that the state government’s actions comprise an “estimate” of what situation shall be brought about if the Congress is provided five years at the Centre.
“In its tenure that is some months old, the Nath regime primarily displayed three things. Firstly, the law and order situation was reduced to a shambles; secondly, the ‘transfer industry’ flourished and lastly, bags stuffed with currency were unearthed from Congress people. A Congress dispensation was constituted in the state after an interval of one-and-a-half decades but within merely half a year it showed all this. It can be guessed what they will ‘accomplish’ in five years,” he said while addressing an election meeting in this divisional headquarters.
Funds disbursed from New Delhi for the welfare of mothers, sisters and children were consigned to graft by those in positions of responsibility in the state government, the visiting dignitary alleged, adding that they now ask why Income Tax searches were executed.
“Raids take place only on the premises of those from whom undeclared assets are subsequently appropriated,” Mr Modi pointed out.
Emphasising that these Lok Sabha polls are vital in view of creating a secure India, the Prime Minister said that it is his desire to have a safe tomorrow for minors and the youth.
“Keeping that in mind, my dispensation has taken measures and shall do likewise in future as well. The 21st century belongs to the millennium born. I extend my best wishes to first-time voters,” he said.
