Kamal Nath takes oath as Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister

Bhopal, Dec 17 (IBNS): Senior Congress leader Kamal Nath on Monday took oath as the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh.

Kamal Nath and the Congress scripted a crucial victory in the Assembly polls in the state, removing the Bharatiya Janata Party from power.

On Monday, back-to-back swearing-in ceremonies of Ashok Gehlot, Kamal Nath and Bhupesh Baghel as chief ministers of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh respectively are taking place.

Several prominent leaders, including party president Rahul Gandhi, are attending the events.

Ex-Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and BJP leader Shivraj Singh Chouhan also attended the oath-taking ceremony of Nath.
