Karnal: BJP Chandigarh workers hold campaigns in 5 constituencies
Chandigarh, Oct 20 (UNI) BJP Chandigarh workers carried out election campaigns in five assembly constituencies in Karnal district under the leadership of BJP Chandigarh President Sanjay Tandon.
The team carried out election campaign activities for over 20 days with mission 75 plus in upcoming assembly elections in Haryana.
Giving information about these activities, BJP Chandigarh Media in charge Ravinder Pathania said Central leadership appointed Sanjay Tandon as an observer for Karnal, Panipat, and Kurushetra assembly elections. Tandon had earlier performed similar duties in previous Himachal Pradesh and Haryana elections as well, where the party won with huge margins.
He is considered a Chanakya when it comes to planning and campaigning for elections. He was accompanied by National Executive Member of BJYM Amit Rana and State President of BJYM Gaurav Goyal in Karnal, Vice President Rambir Bhatti and Kuljit Sarpanch at Indri Constituency ,Councillor Jagtar Singh Jagga and District President Hukam Chand in Gharounda constituency, Councillor Gurpreet Singh Dhillon and Harjit Singh in Asandh constituency, Bharat Kumar and Davinder Singh in Nelokhedi constituency.
On his return from the election campaign, Sanjay Tandon said he visited many areas in 5 assembly constituencies and found that the voters are aware and his appeals for support for BJP which were well received.
In these 20 days, public meetings were organised with ground workers at booth level, Shakti Kendra as well as Panna pramukh and other prominent citizens of the area, the team undertook door to door campaigns and several public meetings, Padyatras, Nukkad Sabha, National Leaders Mega Rally were held.
Sanjay said ,"looking at the response of residents there is no doubt that BJP will once again win the Haryana Vidhan Sabha elections. He appealed to everyone to participate in the upcoming elections and support BJP to have a hard-working honest government.
