Karnataka: Former CM Siddaramaiah tests COVID-19 positive

Bangalore: After Karnataka CM Yediyurappa testing Covid-19 positive, former chief minister and Congress leader Siddaramaiah on Tuesday confirmed he has tested positive for the contagion.

He confirmed the development on his Twitter page.

The Congress leader said he has been admitted to hospital for treatment.

"I have been tested positive for #Covid19 & also been admitted to the hospital on the advice of doctors as a precaution," he tweeted.

He asked everyone who came in contact with him to get them tested.

"I request all those who had come in contact with me to check out for symptoms & to quarantine themselves," he said.
