Karnataka IAS officer found dead in Lucknow road

Lucknow, May 17 (IBNS) The body of a Karnataka Indian Administrative Service (IAS) was found dead by the roadside in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, on Wednesday.

The body of Anurag Tiwari, whose birthday is today, was found under mysterious circumstances. He was a civil service cadre of 2007 and originally hailed from Bahraich in UP.

Media reports said he was staying at the Meera Bai guest house in Hazratganj area for the last two days.

He was identified from his I card after his body was spotted by the roadside.

Investigation is on.
