Karnataka: JDS President A H Vishwanath resigns
Bengaluru, Jun 4 (UNI): Karnataka Janata Dal (Secular) President and former Minister A H Vishwanath today announced his resignation to the President Post.
Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, the senior JDS leader said that he is stepping down owning moral responsibility for the party's debacle in the recently held Lok Sabha election.
Vishwanath was appointed as the Party President after Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy, who was holding State President post expressed his inability to continue to hold two posts after formation of Congress-JDS Coalition government in the State.
