Srinagar, Sept 14 (IBNS): At least 15 people were killed as a bus plunged into a gorge in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday morning.

The accident took place at around 8:30 am.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of J&K's Kishtwar district, Rajinder Gupta, told IBNS: "At least 15 persons have been killed and 11 others are seriously injured as a 25-seater minibus (JK 17 0663) skidded off road and plunged into a over-300-foot gorge near the Chenab riverbed at Dandaran, near Thakrai, in mountainous Kishtwar district."
