Kejriwal not resigning, party, says there will be a big revelation today

New Delhi, May 9 (IBNS) Amid the growing political clouds the ruling Aam Aadmi Party has said that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is not resigning following the corruption allegation while the sacked Minister Kapil Mishra says he is off to file complaints with the Central Bureau of Investigation against his former boss, NDTV reports.

According to reports, Mishra made the statement on Tuesday morning about his move, hours after Ankit Lal, who is heads AAP's IT and Innovation cell, had  tweeted on Monday night : "No. @ArvindKejriwal is not resigning. But it's something bigger than this...Watch out...today, 2pm, Delhi assembly!"

That  the murky  drama  that captures the nation's attention soon after BJP' astounding victory in Uttar Pradesh will further unfold is clear with Kejriwal's aides claiming that there will be a "big revelation" at 2 pm on Tuesday, NDTV says.

Kejriwal, who so far remained silent over the controversy that threatens his image as a man of integrity, himself tweeted on Monday night :  "Truth will prevail. It will start tomorrow with the special session of Delhi Assembly."

It all started late last week with Kapil Mishra, none other than a member of Kejriwal cabinet, alleging that he had seen the Chief Minister accepting Rs. two crore in cash.

The allegation coming from a prominent AAP insider was enough to put the party off balance with its content seeking to snuff out Kejriwal's USP of being a clean politician and giving BJP, fresh from its victory in the Delhi civic body polls, a great political leverage.

The development comes at a time when the AAP is yet to recover from its crushing defeats in Delchi civic body election and the Assembly polls in Goa and Punjab.
