Kejriwal says he won't oblige BJP on DDCA scam and Jaitley
"BJP almost begging me for an apology. Sorry. I won't oblige them. Let Jaitley ji be cross-examined in defamation cases. Let truth prevail," tweeted Kejriwal.
"No clean chit ever given by any Del govt probe. That report confirmed several instances of wrongdoings but did not fix responsibility," he posted.
"It didn't mention ANYONE's name n recommended Enquiry Commission to fix responsibility, which we have done now," he tweeted.
Earlier, suspended Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Kirti Azad has rubbished the suggestions that he followed Congress president Sonia Gandhi to raise the issue of Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) scam in the Lok Sabha.
"Accusing me of speaking on Cong-Pres instructions is undermining the role of the Chair i.e, #Speaker. The Chair decides who will speak," he tweeted on Sunday.
On Monday he said he had not done anything against party line. "I would tell BJP spokespersons to be careful while speaking in public," he said.
He said the SFIO (Serious Fraud Investigation Office) report has asked the DDCA several times for documents and he took the initiative to probe the matter.
He said the matter is about corruption and not Arun Jaitley.
"Do not bring Jaitley into this. It's his birthday today and this matter is about corruption not Jaitley," he said.
Azad was suspended by BJP president Amit Shah after his repeated swipes at Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley over the alleged corruption in the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) which the latter headed for 13 years.
The Lok Sabha MP from Darbhanga in Bihar has been accusing DDCA officials of indulging in corruption.
