Kiran Bedi calls on Jitendra Singh

New Delhi, Jan 4 (IBNS): Kiran Bedi, Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry called on the Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), MoS PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, Dr Jitendra Singh here on Wedneday and discussed with him wide range of issues pertaining to administration and new initiatives undertaken in Puducherry.

Kiran Bedi gave a detailed resume of some of the recent initiatives undertaken in Puducherry.

She particularly mentioned the progress made in the sanitation drive and anti-encroachment work initiated in the Union Territory, ever since she took over as Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry.

Jitendra Singh referred to a proposal from  Kiran Bedi for starting a space technology programme at Puducherry.
