Kolkata: CBI arrests five directors of chit fund company

Kolkata, Dec 7 (IBNS): The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has booked five directors of a ponzi firm- Real Tulip India Ltd, reports said.

According to reports, after being interrogated for hours at CBI's office at CGO Complex in Kolkata's satellite town Salt Lake, these five directors were arrested on Tuesday evening.

The names of the  arrested directors are- Dipankar Ghosh, Malay Halder, Prasenjit Sil, Tirtha Halder and Malay Kumar Guha, a CBI source said.

CBI officials said that Real Tulip India Ltd, which was registered in Madhya Pradesh's Gwalior on Jan 18 in 2012, collected a huge amount of deposits from several states, including West Bengal.

The five arrested are to be  produced in a CBI court.
