Kolkata: Director General of Indian Coast Guard visits North East HQ

Kolkata, Apr 3 (IBNS): Rajendra Singh, Director General Indian Coast Guard visited the Coast Guard Regional Headquarters (North East), Kolkata on Apr 2.

The Flag Officer during his visit reviewed the operational readiness and status of ongoing infrastructure development projects in the region.

The Director General laid the foundation stone for the upcoming CGRHQ (NE) complex at 05 acre CG land, Rajarhat on 02 April '19. A staff level meeting chaired by the Director General and attended by Regional Commander and Chief Staff Officers was held at the Regional Headquarters to discuss future infrastructure development projects and measures to be taken to further enhance maritime security network.
