Kolkata: Minor explosion injures child

Kolkata, Aug 3 (IBNS): A minor explosion was reported from north Kolkata's Tala area on Monday morning which left one child injured.
Deputy Commissioner of Kolkata Police (North division) Shubhankar Sinha told IBNS: "Around 9:25 am. today, one crude bomb was exploded inside a pipe which was kept beside the road at the Xing of Tarashankar Sarani and Khelat Babu Lane, very close to the main gate of Tala Park under Tala Police Station area."
 
"One local child, Bhutto Mollah (4) was seriously injured in the explosion and was rushed to the R. G. Kar Hospital," he said. 
 
The injured child has been admitted to the R. G. Kar Hospital and being treated in critical condition.
 
Bomb Squad of Kolkata Police along with sniffer dog went to the spot and two more explosives were found .
 
Police have started investigation into the matter but no one has been arrested so far.
